Hello there! At OpenWorks, we are actively seeking an Automation Engineer for one of our clients. This is an on-site position with offices in Bogotá, Colombia.

In this role, you will design, scope, and develop innovative projects, primarily within the Microsoft 365 and Azure environments. You will integrate various platforms, maintain rigorous testing standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure each solution is high-quality and purpose-fit.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Location: Bogotá, Colombia.
- Type of contract: Full-time, on-site (offices in Bogotá).
- Timezone: Eastern Time Zone or Colombian Timezone. You’ll be working in the night shift from company’s perspective.
- Salary: 9.000.000 – 12.000.000 COP/month.

What You’ll Do
- Design, scope, and develop projects on Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms.
- Engage in platform integration projects, including REST and SOAP API integration scripting.
- Oversee testing and development processes to maintain high standards.
- Collaborate with various business departments to ensure solutions meet quality expectations.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving bugs and issues efficiently.
- Create automated tests and tasks, and convert existing manual tasks as needed.
- Participate in team activities like stand-ups, planning sessions, demos, collaborative development, and code reviews.
- Contribute to cross-team knowledge-sharing and documentation efforts.
Here’s Your Tech Playground
Must-Have Skills
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency with MS Power Apps.
- SQL scripting experience.
- REST API scripting expertise.
- Familiarity with Git, repositories, and Azure.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with Azure functions and logic apps.
- Skills in MS Power Automate and PowerShell scripting.
- Proficiency in MS Power BI.
- Familiarity with Python or NodeJS.
- PostgreSQL experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and/or Salesforce CRM.
- Experience with continuous integration and Agile methodologies.
