Hello there! At OpenWorks, we are actively seeking a Procurement and Delivery Coordinator for one of our clients. This is a hybrid position located in Bogotá, Colombia. 

This company based in the United Kingdom is a Cloud Services provider that specializes in delivering smart, scalable, and secure IT infrastructure solutions for organizations worldwide. With a commitment to client-centric service and innovative solutions, they support businesses in streamlining their IT operations while prioritizing transparency, quality, and integrity in every engagement.

In this role, you will coordinate and execute all procurement and delivery-related tasks, supporting both the sales and project teams. You’ll track, analyze, and manage orders, liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders, and ensure seamless end-to-end procurement and logistics operations. You’ll maintain close communication with vendors and clients, always keeping professionalism and efficiency at the forefront.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Location: Bogotá, Colombia
  • Type of contract: Full-time, Indefinite Term, under “Salario Ordinario” or “Salario Integral” (Model to be discussed).
  • Salary: Set your salary expectation in COP.
  • Benefits: Legal local benefits + prepaid medicine.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the sales and project teams in sourcing and ordering IT hardware and services.
  • Develop and maintain systems to track procurement activities.
  • Conduct price and quality research to secure the best deals.
  • Collaborate with internal experts to ensure hardware meets specifications.
  • Place orders for hardware and services across different countries, including: Computer hardware, Telephony and video conferencing equipment, Networking and infrastructure gear, Connectivity services and SaaS solutions.
  • Track and report delivery status, follow up with suppliers on delays.
  • Coordinate with couriers as needed and communicate updates to clients.
  • Work with the accounts team to ensure all costs are recorded and invoiced properly.
  • Maintain inventory for internal and spare equipment.
  • Document procurement records, vendor data, warranties, and alternatives considered.
  • Handle returns and exchanges for defective or damaged items.
  • Uphold professional relationships and ethical procurement standards.
  • Address and report any unethical offers or procurement manipulation attempts.
  • Support client inquiries and create basic hardware/software quotations.
  • Offer administrative assistance to the account management team as required.

Here’s Your Playground

  • 5+ years in a tech organization with familiarity in IT hardware, software, and service terminology.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong analytical, questioning, and listening skills.
  • Advanced English (C1/C2 Level) and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, suited to an international context.
  • Team player with a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • High attention to detail — you never miss a beat!
  • Quick learner with a willingness to pursue certifications and skill development.
  • Dependable, hardworking, and self-driven.

Bonus: 

  • Prior experience in a high-pressure, fast-paced procurement role.
  • Procurement certificates or diplomas.
  • Microsoft or other IT certifications.
