Hello there! At OpenWorks, we are actively seeking a Fullstack Integrations Developer to join our team. This is a 100% remote, freelance, project-based position open to candidates based in Colombia. Compensation ranges from $10-$30 USD/hour, depending on seniority.

In this role, you will collaborate with our clients and team members to design, develop, and deliver cutting-edge integrations and solutions. Whether it’s backend development, leveraging No-Code/Low-Code platforms, or managing AI projects, you’ll be at the forefront of innovative technology, driving seamless results.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Location: Colombia
- Type of contract: “Contractor” modality, Freelance/Project-Based, 100% remote. This position is ideal for individuals who can dedicate a few hours daily to the role while maintaining other professional commitments. We welcome candidates who are already employed full-time or engaged in other projects, as long as they can manage their schedule effectively.
- Salary: $10-$30 USD/hour (depending on seniority)
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate directly with clients (primarily in the US and Colombia) to gather, analyze, and document requirements, ensuring clarity and feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Build prototypes and design comprehensive solutions based on client requirements.
- Develop solutions using backend programming languages or No-Code/Low-Code platforms like Zapier, Make, or RPA tools.
- Develop and maintain front-end components to ensure seamless user experiences.
- Integrate and optimize APIs, third-party systems, and custom-built tools.
- Manage personal project timelines using tools like Trello, ClickUp, or Jira.
- Define weekly work plans and execute tasks following agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum).
- Communicate progress, challenges, and updates effectively with clients and team members.
- Work on projects involving Artificial Intelligence, ranging from basic AI integrations to advanced development.
- Leverage experience with AI tools or frameworks to implement innovative client solutions.

- Flexibility to work during evenings or carve out small time blocks during the day to meet with clients or complete tasks.
- 3 years of development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT Systems, or a related technical field. Equivalent experience in development will also be considered.
- Proven experience in backend development (e.g., Python, Node.js, Java, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
- Familiarity with No-Code/Low-Code platforms like Zapier, Make, or RPA tools (preferred).
- Strong understanding of API integrations and system interoperability.
- Hands-on experience in AI-related projects (personal or professional).
- Proficiency with project management tools like Trello, ClickUp, or Jira.
- Autonomous and self-driven, capable of managing tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills in English (C1/Advanced level required).
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Prior experience working with Agile methodologies.
- Experience in client-facing roles or consulting.
