Hello there! At OpenWorks , we are actively seeking a Junior Integrations Web Developer to join our team. This is a 100% remote Contractor position, open to Latin America!
In this role, you will work on different API integration projects on different platforms and set up automations for different clients of our company.

ABOUT THE ROLE
- Location: LATAM (Colombia, México, Argentina, Venezuela, Chile, Brazil / Brasil, Nicaragua, Honduras, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Peru, Panama, Guatemala, etc.)
- Pay Per Hour: $8-$10 USD per hour.
- Type of contract: Contractor modality. Project-based, 100% remote set-up.
- Working hours: Eastern Time Zone.
What We’re Looking For:
- +1 year of related experience.
- Computer Science Degree is not mandatory, but desirable.
- Client Support: Ability to take the requirements of clients in the United States, answer questions, and communicate with them in a timely manner.
- Messaging Platforms: Experience with or knowledge of WhatsApp Business API for sending and receiving messages programmatically.
- APIs Integration: Demonstrable experience integrating different systems using APIs. Ability to integrate Zapier, Make, and other platforms with WhatsApp and other required platforms using API endpoints.
- API Documentation: Skilled at reading and implementing solutions based on API documentation.
- Automation Projects: Proven experience in implementing automation projects, preferably in a messaging, sales, or customer service context. Familiarity with Zapier, Make, Microsoft Power Automate, and other automation platforms.
- Front-End and Back-End Development: Basic understanding of front-end (Specially JavaScript), and back-end development to support integration tasks (Python, Java, Ruby, C#, Node.js, etc).
- Webhook Setup: Ability to set up and manage webhooks for real-time data exchange between platforms.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze project requirements and design efficient automation solutions.
- Troubleshooting: Skilled in diagnosing and resolving technical issues promptly.
- Clear Communication: Advanced English, with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and document implementation processes effectively.
- Team Collaboration: Experience working in a team environment, collaborating with other developers, project managers, and clients.
- Time Management: Efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy and reliability in automation setups and configurations.
